How to write clear and effective business emails

I am so excited to finally reveal our brand-new audio courses!
As many of you will know, we have a wide range of courses on our website, from Business English (including meetings, negotiations, presentations) to idioms, phrasal verbs and many more.
Well, now, you can listen to these courses! Whether you want to follow along on the computer or learn English on the move (in your car, as you walk the dog, even as you’re grocery shopping) it’s up to you and it’s never been easier.
The first course we have launched is about Writing Emails.
In season 1 you will learn how to write the perfect email – including specific language points (including prepositions, linking words, relative clauses), as well as tone and register and vocabulary. In addition to this, you will learn how to give information, ask for information and give news – hugely important things to know before sending emails.
In season 2 you will learn when and how to speak formally and informally. In addition, you will discover a range of business slang, phrasal verbs and prepositions. You’ll also learn a range of common business email mistakes, giving you an inside look into problems even native speakers still make. You’ll no longer be confused about the difference between fetch and bring, borrow and lend, along with many more.
By the end of the course, I want you to feel able and energised to communicate with people through the written word. I’m a firm believer in practice making perfect and, in this course, you will have a lot of opportunity to practice.
The two seasons of Writing Emails are available on the Intrepid English website. Just click on the links below. You’ll find the episodes, as well as worksheets including key information and transcripts.
