You’ve booked your flights, your bags are packed and you’re ready to go!
When you arrive at the airport, you may encounter words and phrases that you’re not familiar with. Some airports use multi-lingual signs, but sometimes the only language used is English. This lesson will teach you the vocabulary you need at the airport and help you to practise using it. Once you complete this lesson, you’ll know which questions to ask at the airport and how to get to your flight on time.
Remember, if you have any questions or problems at the airport, there are lots of people who can help you. Airline staff at check-in desks can answer any questions about your flight, give you directions to security, and tell you how to get to the gate your plane departs from. If you’re lost and can’t find your gate, you can ask for directions from airport staff who are usually very helpful.
