Talking To Locals

Gemma November 20, 2019

Now you’re out there and exploring!

One way to make sure that you get the most out of your holiday is to get advice from locals.

Being able to speak to local people is very useful if you get lost or need some help getting somewhere. In this lesson, we’ll cover how to ask for directions and how to follow them. Then we’ll practise so that you feel more confident. If you ever need to ask for directions from a local, you’ll know what to do!

Locals are also very knowledgable about the place you’re visiting. This makes them excellent sources of information and it’s a great idea to ask them for recommendations. There’s so much to see and do when you’re on holiday! Some local advice to help you decide where to go and what to do can be incredibly valuable. This lesson will show you how to ask for recommendations.

The last thing we’ll look at is Tourist Information. Like the locals, Tourist Information has lots of useful tips about your holiday destination to help you decide what to do. We’ll cover how to ask for advice at Tourist Information and how to tell them what you want to do.

Let’s get talking!
